The American Legion Hiring Our Heroes veterans job fair in Minneapolis had an excellent turnout with more than 60 employers offering a wide variety of positions to local servicemen and servicewomen. The event was sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce along with the Minnesota Chamber and several local chamber partners including Dakota County Regional, Edina, Fergus Falls, Litchfield, MetroNorth, Minneapolis, Owatonna and Waconia. Minnesota National Guard State Chaplain LTC John Morris teaching a seminar to help equip a community to help our combat veterans and their families to reintegrate into our communities after their combat duties.
Patti Gartland, City Administrator, City of Sartell, teaching how to prepare your community and organization for a leadership role in times of crises. Dale Barnett, chairman of the National Economics Commission; Arrie Larsen Manti, president of the Edina Chamber of Commerce; and Robert Madden, assistant director of economics at The American Legion, participated in The American Legion Hiring Our Heroes veterans job fair August 27 in Minneapolis. The event was sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and several other local chamber partners. MCCE Membership Directory and Resource Guide:

An annual book put out by MCCE with contact information for all local chambers in Minnesota. It also includes the MCCE directors and officers, business plan and resource guide.

MCCE How to Hire Guide:

A guide to help select and hire chamber executives. It was developed to provide guidelines and procedures to hire the best qualified candidate to administer the affairs at the local chamber.

MCCE Dues and Non Dues Income Survey:

A summary of the income survey handled by MCCE in 2004. It contains information summaries for all sizes of chambers and also prodices examples of chamber investment schedules.

MCCE Executive Handbook:

A handbook for local chamber executives that was designed to provide new executives with an outline of the basic elements of chamber operations. Each of the 10 chapters were written by talented and seasoned chamber professionals.

2012 Seven State Compensation, Income and Benefits Survey of Local Chambers:

Every two years, Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) conducts and presents a study of local chambers of commerce that analyzes operations, compensation, and benefits. For the 2012 survey, Illinois was added to the previous six-state region of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
